|
|
INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING
ANALYSIS |
| This will help
assure the efficient utilization of personnel and other
assets. Improved methods are developed by motion and time
studies, synthesis, and cost control
systems. | |
|
SYSTEMS
ANALYSIS |
|
Cost and time
savings are developed for more productive procedures with
respect to time, money and yield. All operations are fully
integrated. |
|
ENVIRONMENTAL
STUDIES |
|
Various
environmental considerations for the management of liquid and
solid waste as well as the control of pollution and pests are
studied and alternative solutions recommended. The selected
solution is then
implemented. | | |
|
LONG RANGE
MASTER PLANNING Master plans are
prepared by qualified personnel experienced in anticipating future
needs; the requirements are broken down into appropriate phases.
Immediate needs are covered in the initial phase with the future
provided for as required. |
|
INTEGRATION OF LOGISTICS
ACTIVITIES It's important that there be a cohesive
program for handling an order from the time it's received until the
time it's
delivered. | |
|

|
SITE
SELECTION Key factors affecting location such
as labor source, transportation, waste disposal requirements, etc.
are determined, weighed and each site ranked in a matrix to
objectively determine the most desirable site. |

| |
| PRELIMINARY
PLANS |
| Operational requirements
are translated into drawings, sketches and written descriptions, supported
by cost estimates. Alternatives are presented so that the client can make
an informed decision on final design. |
| FINAL PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS |
| Final plans are rendered
in appropriate detail and supported by written specifications covering
both general and special conditions. While detailed plans are required for
buildings, this is generally not true for equipment. Outline plans and
performance specifications, followed by careful review of shop drawings as
submitted, are usually sufficient. |
|

|
PROJECT
MANAGEMENT FOODPRO will assume single
responsibility for construction, equipment installation and plant
start-up. Assistance in arranging financing is also
available. |

| |
FEASIBILITY AND
ECONOMIC STUDIES In depth studies are made to determine
the feasibility of a proposed program prior to expenditure of
capital. |
 |
EQUIPMENT
LAYOUT AND PRODUCT FLOW ANALYSIS Innovative, efficient
methods of handling raw product from the field to the market
including storage, processing, packing and shipping, are
developed. | |
MARKETING
STUDIES After researching market potential and
constraints, recommendations are made for achieving maximum
effective penetration. FOODPRO personnel are well
acquainted with reprocessors, merchandisers and other users and
can help assure proper marketing
